My name is Nicolle Gomez and I will be interning as your school social work intern this year. I am excited to be a part of your journey during this life changing time. My role is to support students with general check-ins, group counseling, as well as one-on-one counseling for folks who may need additional support. I understand the importance of meeting families where they are and respect the dedication that is needed to stay focused on a virtual platform. I aim to collaborate with students and families to empower you with tools for success and happiness!
Currently, I am working towards completing my Master’s Degree in Social Work in May of 2027 with the California State University of Los Angeles. In my spare time, I like to go on walks with my fur baby, try different cuisines, and my new hobby is traveling. This past March, I went on a 7 day cruise through Florida, Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belize, and Honduras. This coming Spring Break, I will be traveling through Puerto Rico, Aruba, St. Maarten, and Curaçao. The responsibilities of living in Southern California can be demanding. Make sure you take care of yourself first!
