I’m excited to be joining Ednovate Virtual Academy as a School Counselor Intern. I’m currently in the final year of my Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University, where I’m training as both a Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor.
Before transitioning into this field, I spent many years working in marketing, where I developed a strong foundation in communication, listening, and understanding people. Those skills continue to shape how I show up in this work today.
I currently work in community mental health, supporting individuals and families navigating a range of challenges. That experience has reinforced my belief that real change often begins with feeling heard and understood.
I’m especially interested in supporting students in a virtual setting, where I understand the unique challenges that can come with being more on your own. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, non-judgmental, and real—where you can speak openly, feel heard, and be taken seriously. From there, we can work together to help you take ownership of your mental health, build skills that actually fit your life, and set goals that feel meaningful to you.
A little about me: I grew up on the East Coast and have lived in Los Angeles since 2011. I’m married, and have three children, who have been the great joys of my life. I enjoy stories – movies, television shows, reading, cooking, staying active, and I’m always interested in how people grow and make sense of their experiences.
I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you this year.
