I am excited to join Ednovate Virtual Academy as a School Counselor Intern! I am in the final year of my Master’s in Clinical Psychology program at Pepperdine University, specializing in marriage and family therapy. My professional journey began in hospitality and sales, where I developed valuable communication and interpersonal skills. Currently, I provide administrative support for Pepperdine’s PsyD Clinical Training Program and a private practice that specializes in working with children and adolescents. I also serve as a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee at Centered Community Foundation in South LA.
I am passionate about supporting students, especially in a virtual setting, where I recognize the unique challenges you face. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where every student feels heard, valued, and empowered. I hope to help you take ownership of your mental health, build skills for success, and set goals that feel meaningful to you as an individual.
A little about me: I’m originally from Connecticut and have lived in North Carolina, Chicago, and now Los Angeles for the past six years. I share my home with two rescue dogs, Lloyd and Carl, and I love cooking, seeing live music, and (regrettably!) cheering for the New York Jets.
I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you this year!
